The amazing Selleck Waterfall Sandwich
That’s right. A website consisting of neatly photoshopped images of the man, his moustache, a waterfall and a sandwich. Why? No idea. But somehow it’s strangely entertaining. I feel there is a Whitespace photoshop competition in this. Maybe a Burt Reynolds version.
Ripping off Anthony Burrill
Whitespacers went along in force to the excellent Long Lunch talk by Anthony Burrill on Tuesday night. Mr Burrill mentioned that his work had been ripped off quite few times and that it was quite flattering so the Whitespace design team decided to each produce their own Anthony Burrill style poster. Oh and he has an exhibition opening Thu 11 Feb at Analogue Books.
Make yourself a hero
Hilarious website from Sweden to thank people for paying their TV license (although I’m not sure everyone will be thrilled with the production values of the movie). Yes, you can make yourself a hero. Best to upload a stupid picture of yourself picking your nose or something (now who would do such a thing?) and sit back and watch some very clever video/flash integration thingy (hope I’m not being too technical).
JimCarrey.com
Enter the truly mind blowing, bizarre world of JimCarrey.com – a flash heavy (well, super heavy) site that offers a rich cinematic experience that pretty much sums up Jim Carrey in a couple of clicks. The whole website is made up of a montage of expertly crafted scenes from his movies. Everything has been covered here from Ace Ventura to The Cable Guy to A Series of Unfortunate events and each section is a montage. I know some will balk at the Flash rich site but when you come to look at Jim Carrey’s own website you want something a little bit different. If you want a detailed history of his carer and movie roles then get to IMDB. If you want to experience Jim Carrey, the movie star, then come here. If there is a criticism it’s that the content has been compromised to fit within the Flash scenes but all is forgiven once you click from one section to another and experience one of the roller coaster transitions.
The Kingon Defense Academy
Laugh out loud funniness from Burger King in the Kingon Defense Academy. Protect your BK glass against attacks such as The Neon Nurple, The Warp Five Wedgie, The Dozarian Flat Tyre, The Intergalatic Nerve Pinch and the Talaxian Limb Paralysis.
